Advanced Yoga Teacher Training

After many years of studying, practicing, and teaching yoga, we are excited to bring this program to you. Over the course of the next two years, you’ll dive deep into the yoga traditions with practices for all levels of your being. These practices and the supporting philosophy have the power to transform our lives and our communities. This is what the world needs right now. I am especially excited to share this new 300 Hour Bliss-Inspired Advanced Yoga Teacher Training with my dear friend and co-director Trish Reyburn. Together we offer decades of personal study and teaching experience. Please join us on this amazing journey.

for this advanced-level 300-hour
yoga teacher training

In this training we will dive deeper into transformational teachings of Yoga through physical asana, pranayama, and meditation practices. There will be extensive study of Yoga philosophy and the very foundations of Yoga from the Upanishads, Yoga Sutras, the Bhagavad Gita, as well as more contemporary Yogic texts.

This experiential training invites personal transformation through study, practice and deep reflective thought. We will practice teaching skills that include class design, theming, language skills and presentation. You will develop skills necessary to work with diverse populations of students and increase your own toolbox. Enhance your ability to meet the needs of each individual student within a class setting or in private lessons.

Requirements: Students must fully attended all scheduled weekends to receive certification, as well as complete all homework and mentoring assignments.

Fridays 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Saturdays 11:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Sundays 10 – 4 p.m.


Minimum 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification

About Us
Tricia McAvoy is the owner of Blissworks Yoga & Healing Arts and an E-RYT 500 certified yoga instructor with over 19 years teaching experience. Tricia began her yoga education in 1995 and became certified in 2000 through the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health. In 2008 she received another 200-hour certification in Anusara Yoga and then continued her training in that method to accumulate 500-hours through the Yoga Alliance. Tricia is also a certified Holy Fire II Karuna Reiki Master as well as a Thai Yoga Massage Therapist and a Certified Holistic Health Coach. She loves sharing the gift of yoga with all interested students and is known for enthusiasm for yoga in all its many forms.
Karen O'Donnell Clarke is the owner of Yoga Heals Us, teaching students since 1996 and yoga teachers since 2003. She began her yoga journey at the age of 13 and developed a lifelong love of the practice, the philosophy and the yoga community. After being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1997, she found that the practices and philosophy of yoga helped to keep her healthy and nearly symptom free for many years. After being diagnosed and treated for cancer in 2012, it's yoga that keeps her sane and thriving. Her business, Yoga Heals Us LLC, reflects her enthusiasm that yoga heals us - on all levels of our being - body, mind, and spirit. A lifelong student of yoga, Karen is a Certified Yoga Therapist C-IAYT with advanced certifications from Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health (E-RYT500) and Integrative Yoga Therapy (PYT1000) as well as Yoga of the Heart, Yoga for the Special Child, and Trauma Informed Yoga Training (TIYT).
