Gentle All Levels Yoga
Tuesdays: 11:00 am–12:00 pm ET

Would you like to move more to feel better and are most comfortable practicing yoga in your own home and without concerns about the weather? This gentle, all levels mat class can help you to strengthen and stretch so your body and mind feel more at ease. Postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation are guided slowly with options so you can stay within a manageable range of movements and go at your own pace. Gentle Adaptive Yoga

This is a gentle mat class that uses (optional) chairs for standing poses. The focus of this class is stretching, balance and relaxation.

Chair Yoga for Every Body
Thursdays: 9:30–10:30 a.m. ET

Are you interested in yoga without having to get on and off the floor? This Chair Yoga class uses a chair to support seated and standing poses and moves at a steady pace with options in each position so you can find what’s best for your body. You’ll be moving in ways to nourish your joints and increase your mobility, flexibility, balance, and strength. Wonderful Wednesdays: February 21, 28 & March 6, 13 7–8:15 p.m. EST Restorative Yoga and Deep Rest Yoga Nidra

This class will begin with Restorative Yoga followed by a long guided Yoga Nidra.

Restorative yoga is a passive practice of yoga where props including pillows, bolsters, folded blankets, rolled towels and blocks support the body to release.

Yoga Nidra is a guided body awareness exploration that can evoke a state of conscious deep rest. Tuning in to the body in Yoga Nidra allows calmness and clarity in the mind. It’s one of the deepest of all meditations, leading awareness through many levels of mental process to a state of deep stillness and insight.

Gather/create props at your home:

  • Yoga Mat (or your couch or bed!
  • Bolster
  • Square or Rectangular Pillow (firm if possible)
  • Blankets to fold (cotton or wool generally hold their shape and are firm)
  • Blocks and rolled or folded yoga mats, covered by a throw or soft cloth
  • Towels to roll or fold
  • Washcloths to pad ankles, hands and make space behind knees

Guided class—no previous experience needed. Pets Optional!

She was also graced to assist Judith Lasater, author of the classic book on Restorative Yoga: Relax and Renew at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health.
